Greenlights is a catalyst for extraordinary nonprofit performance, bringing leading practices in management and governance to strengthen Central Texas nonprofits.
We provide affordable, high-value management consulting services, professional development workshops and conferences, customized training, and countless hours of free advice and resources to more than 800 nonprofits and 2,500 individuals each year. We focus our services on five areas of nonprofit management and governance:

- Board Governance
- Leadership Advancement
- Strategy & Planning
Because Greenlights is a 501c3, the nonprofits we serve pay only about 65% of the cost of delivering services to them, thanks to the generosity of our many donors and supporters who help us keep our services accessible and affordable to the nonprofit community.

History
In 2001, a group of local funders, nonprofit leaders, and community volunteers created Greenlights, realizing that Central Texas needed a place nonprofits could go for guidance on their management and governance issues. Since that time, we have grown our services to the point where we now directly support over 800 organizations and 2,500 individuals annually through a wide range of programs and services focused primarily on five key pain points felt by nonprofits: Financial Management, Resource Development, Board Excellence, Leadership Advancement, and Strategy & Planning.
Geographic Focus
Greenlights focuses on serving nonprofits in Central Texas, which includes Travis, Caldwell, Hays, Bastrop, and Williamson counties. From time to time we will work with individual nonprofits from the surrounding area, and all of our “free” services are accessible to anyone who wants to make use of them.
