Interim Executive Director Pool Member Profiles

   Diane Crosson

Diane Crosson has worked for 25 years in nonprofit, human services organizations. She has experience as a nonprofit chief executive, a counselor, a trainer, and a consultant. She has over 11 years experience providing nonprofit management support. She served as Executive Director of the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center in Marble Falls and as the Executive Director of the Hill Country Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse in Kerrville. Her professional expertise includes board management and development, mentoring new executive directors, organizational assessment, program administration and finance.

 

 

   Elizabeth Ann Gates

Elizabeth Ann Gates is the former Executive Director of the Foundation of Women’s Resources (Leadership Texas) in Dallas, Texas and Preservation Texas. With almost three decades of experiences in the public sector, she has extensive expertise in program development, resource development, communication, strategic planning, public relationships and board service.

 

 

   Karen Kalergis

Karen Kalergis has served as the Executive Director of the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas and the Associate Director of the Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault at the Center for Social Work Research at the University of Texas. Ms. Kalergis brings a wide-range of significant expertise and experience in the areas of strategic communication, program development, board management and development, crisis management, leadership, and collaboration.

 

 

   Kathy McCarrell

Kathy McCarrell served as Executive Director for the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center in Orange, CA and the Los Angeles County Child Sexual Abuse Crisis Center for 13 years. She has recently relocated to Austin, after decades of leadership in the Los Angeles area children’s advocacy and protection community. Her areas of expertise include board management and development, fundraising, strategic planning, executive transitions, and organizational assessment.

 

 

   Ag Meek

Ag Meek is the former Executive Director of the Cancer Caring House in Edwards, Colorado. He is an accomplished executive in the for-profit realm, serving in various leadership roles throughout his 35-year career with 3M. Mr. Meek has extensive experience in management, marketing, technology, strategic planning, and board management and development.

 

 

   Jack Nokes

Jack Nokes has served as the Executive Director of the Texas Association of Museums for 12 years, and the Interim Director of Laguna Gloria Art Museum, where he served as Director of Administration for 11 years. His professional expertise includes board management and development, finance, management, strategic planning, and succession planning.

 

 

   Mike Rush

Mike Rush is the former Executive Director of the United Way of Odessa in Odessa, TX, Earth Share Texas, and Austin Families, Inc. With over three decades of nonprofit leadership experience, Mr. Rush brings a diverse range of expertise in the areas of management, marketing, outcome measurement, program administration, board engagement, development, and fundraising.
