Community Action Network
The mission of the Community Action Network is to achieve sustainable social, health, educational and economic outcomes through engaging the community in a planning and implementation process that coordinates and optimizes private and individual actions and resources.
CompassPoint Nonprofit Services is a nonprofit training, consulting and research organization with offices in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Through a broad range of services, they provide nonprofits with the management tools, concepts and strategies necessary to shape change in their communities.
The ‘How-to’ source for those working at America’s charitable organizations, Contributions Magazine focuses on all facets of fundraising and organizational management.
Grant Professionals Association
The Grant Professionals Association, a national membership organization, has a local chapter of professional grant writers, some of whom are grant consultants with extensive experience, who can assist nonprofit organizations in preparing and submitting proposals. GuideStar, the national database of U.S. charitable organizations, gathers and distributes data on more than 850,000 IRS-recognized nonprofits.
Innonet.org is the website of Innovation Network, a nonprofit organization working to share the power of evaluation with nonprofits and funders. They are dedicated to developing and sharing evaluation tools and know-how with nonprofits and funders, so they can do their work more effectively. They provide program planning and evaluation consulting, training, and Web-based tools to nonprofits and funders across geographic and programmatic boundaries.
InternInAustin is a city-wide initiative to encourage the use of internships and to connect the non-profits of Central Texas with student talent to provide resource capacity and experienced-based learning. Management Asistance Program
Management Assistant Program (MAP) for nonprofits is your resource for quality, affordable management help. We provide consulting, training and board recruitment services to more than 800 nonprofits each year.
Small, medium-sized or prospective new business owners now have a "one stop shop" of information, calculators and best practices to help grow your enterprises. IBM is pleased to present the SME (small, medium enterprise) Toolkit, a free, web-based multilingual portal. The goal is to help SMEs learn and implement business management practices, increase productivity, efficiency and capacity, as well as improve their access to capital and new markets.
